The Glow of Roses in the Spring

Having a lot of pink and red paint to choose from makes painting roses SO MUCH fun!!!! I have quinacridone coral which is one of my favorite colors, even better than permanent rose. The reds and greens on this handmade rough press paper just seem to glow. Painting roses every spring is something that I love very much. In the winter when I want to remember the sunshine and color of spring roses, I'll paint them while it's cold and wet outside.
