Beach Magic

This piece was inspired from one of my many beach photos. I enjoyed emphasizing the sky and creating sky and cloud shapes. The browns and blues in the lower portion of the piece echo the sky shapes and balance the darker blues at the top of the piece. There's something powerful about being able to see a flat expanse all the way to the horizon and that's what I wanted to give the impression of in this piece.
